I am an award-winning multimedia journalist in New York City. I write and report for Talking Points Memo; I started in our features department and now cover 2016 and national affairs.
Before moving to New York, I lived and worked at newspapers in Seattle, Phoenix and New Orleans. My daily and enterprise reporting has been published in outlets across the country, including The Seattle Times, The Arizona Republic, the Center for Public Integrity, The Times-Picayune and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
I graduated summa cum laude in May 2014 with concurrent master's and bachelor's degrees from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
My favorite things include: Grey's Anatomy, red lipstick, al pastor tacos, the Yankees and pandas.
